In New York, April can mean dry and over 70° or wet and below 50°. Times like these call for layering, even if it means a jacket over a jacket. It beats that down coat that doubles as a sleeping bag.

When wearing statement jewelry, make it the focal point of visual interest. Keep the palette clean. However, sartorial cleanliness doesn't mean your outfit has to be on Ambien. Consider textures and neutral prints to tie everything together.
